Wests Tigers have locked in Alex Twal until the end of 2024 after signing the middle forward on a new two-year deal.
Already contracted until the end of next NRL season, Twal was taken off the market by the Tigers on Sunday.
It marks the club’s second big move in the forwards in the space of a week, with Parramatta backrower Isaiah Papali’i also signed up for 2023.
A Parramatta junior, Twal has become one of the Tigers’ most consistent players in recent years.
“I’m really happy to be staying at Wests Tigers,” Twal said.
“Wests Tigers feels like part of my DNA now.
“I’ve been there for five years and know we’re building something very special with the people we have at the club.”
